Reconstructing and widening existing Garth Road from four to six lanes from I-10 to Baker Road. Planned improvements include three 11-foot travel lanes in each direction, a 16-foot noncontinuous raised median, a 6.5-foot sidewalk on one side, a 10-foot shared-use path on the opposite side, and right-turn lanes at select locations. Purpose: facilitate mobility for anticipated population growth in Harris County and enhance safety.
Drainage improvement project to enhance storm sewer infrastructure for heavy storm events; includes utility, sidewalk, and roadway upgrades; adds benches, trees, and lighting. Facilitates movement of storm water from local streets to Goose Creek.

SH 146 - Red Bluff to south of Galveston/Harris County line
The TxDOT Houston District is proposing to reconstruct and widen SH 146 from FM 518 to FM 517 in Galveston County, Texas. The proposed project will improve the existing roadway to enhance safety and mobility along the highway by reducing traffic congestion and improving the evacuation capability of the highway in instances of flooding and severe weather.
The TxDOT Houston District, is proposing improvements along I-10 at the San Jacinto River from west of Magnolia Street to Thompson Road and Spur 330 from I-10 to Thompson Road in Harris County, Texas, a distance of 4.5 miles. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow, increase navigational safety, and enhance roadway network connectivity within the project limits.
The purpose of the public meeting is to present study findings to date, present reasonable alternatives for improvements, and to receive comments from the public.
